Creating Custom Views

Creating custom report views in Resiada is a powerful way to focus on the information that matters most to you.

How-To Create a Custom Report

  1. Access the Report: Begin by navigating to the report you want to customize in Resiada's back office.
  2. Initiate Customization: Find and click the ‘New View’ button, located at the top left corner of the report interface.
  3. Name Your Custom View: Give your new view a descriptive name. You can also decide whether this view should become the default for this particular report and if you want to share this view with your team.
  4. Customize Columns and Filters: This is where you tailor the report to your needs.
    • Use Customize Table to adjust the visibility of different columns to show the data you find most relevant. Certain reports may offer additional filtering options through Custom Filters, allowing you to apply filters to refine the information according to your specific needs.
  5. Save Your Custom View: After making your adjustments, don’t forget to save your changes. Look for the ‘Save Changes’ button, near the ‘New View’ button.
  6. Managing Views: You can easily switch between different custom views using a dropdown menu next to the ‘New View’ button. If you need to delete a custom view, you can do so by selecting the ‘Delete’ option for that specific view.

Important Considerations

  • Enhanced Data Relevance: Customize views to focus on the most pertinent data for your specific needs.
  • Improved Efficiency: Quick access to tailored information saves time.
  • Team Collaboration: Share custom views to ensure consistency in data interpretation across the team.
  • Flexibility and Control: Adjust views as needs change.
  • Avoid Data Overload: Be cautious not to include too many columns, which can lead to information overload.
  • Regular Updates: Keep views relevant by reviewing and updating them regularly.
  • Privacy and Security: Consider data sensitivity when sharing views.
  • Consistency in Reporting: Ensure shared views are used uniformly to avoid discrepancies.

By creating custom views, you enhance the relevance of the data presented, improving efficiency in decision-making and team collaboration. Regularly updating and refining these views ensures they continue to meet your evolving needs.
